Psychologist

High Wycombe Primary School Psychologist provides a specialist psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation service one day a week. This is an evidence based service provided at the individual, group, whole school and system levels.

The School Psychologist provides support in three main areas:

  • Behaviour: working with students, parents and schools to identify and facilitate positive behaviour change (individual, group and systemic level).
  • Learning: Conducting assessments of students experiencing learning difficulties and/or disabilities at schools. Supporting schools in making appropriate curriculum adjustments for students to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Mental Health and Well-being: Providing direct support for students experiencing mental health difficulties and assisting schools and children maximize the development of positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
