Re-Cyc-Ology Project

Recently our school was privileged to receive a cock-a-tube, a habitat for black cockatoos. This is through the City of Kalamunda's environmental program and the Re-Cyc-Ology Project. Despite the cold day, students and staff were entertained by Simon who delivered an informative presentation about birds, threats to their natural habitat and practical things we can do to make a positive difference. Simon then climbed one of our oval trees to install the cock-a-tube. We are hopeful of seeing black cockatoos nesting in our school in the future. For more information about this, you can check out the The re-cyc-ology project and Insight Ornithology.
